Le plugin mtupgrade permet de charger la librairie mootools 1.2 sur les anciennes versions de Joomla! (inférieur à Joomla! 1.5.19). Il prend en charge la couche de compatibilité vers mootools 1.1 et intègre une option pour choisir les ID de page (Itemid des menus) sur lesquels utiliser le plugin.
